Permits
Residential Permits
Bridgewater Township requires permits for all building and remodeling projects.
If you have questions, please contact the Township Clerk:
Email: bridgewaterpermits@gmail.com
Phone: 507-645-1656
When a building application is submitted, it will first be reviewed by the Zoning Administrator for zoning approval. Afterward, the application will be sent to Inspectron for a plan review, which typically takes 7–10 days.
Once zoning approval and the plan review are complete, the Township Clerk will contact the applicant to pick up the permit. Permit fees must be paid by cash or check at the time of pickup.
Permits will become null and void if work does not begin within 180 days of issuance or if work is stopped for 180 days after starting.
